Title: out looking for new sites Post by: coleggwent(phil) on July 05, 2009, 10:40:57 PM out today looking for new sites did get two new farms the first one the farmer mr pike told me that a glos club do go on there so not to tread on anyones toes i gave it a miss the second one mrs tovey said no one as ever been on her land so i give it a go glad i did finds of the day 3 hammerd 4 milled silver a good few roman coins to much stuff to list ground was to hard to dig foot rely soar now cant wait for the winter to do this site i smell gold coins :o will post pics tommrow ;)

Title: Re: out looking for new sites Post by: coleggwent(phil) on July 08, 2009, 10:20:14 PM hi stig mate its allways better to go and ask face to face the thing is they dont know who they are letting on there land by letter knock is the best bet i would not let anyone on my land if they sent me a letter would you ??? just a bit of advice mate ive got 60 farms to go on a few tips for you hope this will help you tip 1 try and find out the farmers name before you knock it helps tip 2 allways drop a few names of farmers around the area that will build some trust tip 3 never go scruffy no gruff dress tidy it do help mate try it trust me you will do ok you willnot get every farm but you will get some hope you put this to use good luck best wishes (phil)
