Title: Leather bound mirror with Imperial German Crest Post by: herbie on March 25, 2013, 03:15:41 PM I recently found this interesting item in a job lot of bits and pieces I bought from auction. I thought it was rather unusual and I've never seen one before. I'm assuming it's contemporary with the dates the Imperial German Crest was used 1888-1918. I've tried to do some research but haven't really been able to find anything, so was wondering if anyone else has seen one like it and do you think it has military connections? I've listed it on ebay, but am in two minds whether I want to sell it, so might take it off.

Have you thought about contacting one of the bigger auction houses. It looks to be high quality and someone 'in the know' might be able to tell you something about it's history and value.
