many thanks to organisers for great day.
also it was great to see people having the respect to fill holes in and removing rubbish this shows we all respect our land and rules.
look forward to no 2 rally.

Memorable day out. Thanks to everyone involved in organising the rally. Great to meet all you nice people and so knowledgable, learnt loads, thanks. Hopefully more to come.

PS Neil. Haven't unfolded the hammy yet, she's on nights tomorrow, so I can use one of her posh saucepans ! James suggested boiling and not direct heat. Will let you know.

Thanks for the advice Al. Unfortunately it went a bit pear shaped, shattered into little bits. I put the remaining sliver, about a quarter of the original coin, on ukdetectornet for some ID. Tomredmayne came back and said that it could possibly be an Edward III York halfpenny.
