Title: Add Backgrounds to your Finds Images.
Post by: staterchaser on January 03, 2011, 11:51:27 PM
Here's another easy way to add impact to your coin & artifact images. Much the same set up as with the dark background.
This time pic a background image eg book, mag etc Try to theme it, maybe a castle for hammered coins or even an image of where the item was found. Prop the glass up approx 2 inches from background and keep the aperture as wide as you can eg f4 as you dont want the background sharp.
The background needs to be out of focus not to compete with your finds.
Easy, Good Luck!

Thanks for passing on your tips, they are simple but very affective.
Easy when you know how ;)

Will use this when I find something good to photograph ;D
