Deb that's what I'd call a hoard and a half! lol. Fantastic find....looking at the piccie of the three guys it was either found with a Minelab or XP......I'd like to think it was a Minelab...... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Its right in the article though , Axe hoards are ...not common place but frequent enough to make you wonder the meaning behind the hoard. Offering to the gods must be one theory and that would give us a good insight into how important these artifacts were to the owners.
