a year today out detecting with a few of the old D.W. crew a very cold day to ,great memories of this day is when i could walk properly lol Grin

and i found my first crotal bell and of course my Edward 3rd gold hammy........those were the days Grin

in that case it was a year ago today i met you my friend,,lol..lovely gold hammered kev and crotal bell mate.i myself could.nt believe it when you shouted HEY GUYS IVE FOUND A GOLD HAMMERED.lol.id never seen a gold hammered it was the first time for me to see one..it was a pleasure to be part of it all..welldone fella.

I remember you finding this Kev, as I couldn't make it due to being stuck at home with full on Manflu!

I got a phonecall from Rob to tell me you had found a GOLD coin and he described it, and then said [i]"to make matters worse hes bloody also found a crotal bell as well!" [/i]

I was rocking with laughter as Taff wasn't bothered about you finding the gold coin, it was the crotal bell he was going nuts about! All very funny at the time!

You'll soon be making more finds like this mate - great post

mmmmmm hammered gold,,,,,,,never found one ,thought i found a fake earlier this year,turned out to be a medi french jetton[look similar]maybe its my eyes Tongue
