The book price kind of surprised me a little  :o

Thought so, as you can tell its the 4th bust (flaming hair) The new books out in a few days it may be a little higher. ;)

After a Google to see what the 1699 sales for im surprised to see there's not many about, not even on eBay.

This one I found sold at Londoncoins for £140 back in 2013 :D Going by that you will do very well ;) Il up date you with the new book price Friday ;)

Yes, the flaming hair is quite distinctive - and a nicer year too (i.e not 1696!).

Lovely condition - can't wait to see other people's finds.

I found one of them a couple yrs ago , still got it but mines a bit scratched and nowhere near as good condition as yours , just looked on eBay and there are a few on ther , trying to be sold for up to £700 and to be honest I'd say yours looks better than all of them,,!!
