Congratulations Paul  on the new arrival ;), but make sure you clean the coil cover out when required, you don't want any shite building up down that end, it can cause irritating falsing   ;D ::)

Good luck on Barry (again) - I was there with my family (hence without detector) earlier in the week and saw a chap detecting, but wasn't one of you guys :) - I don't think he'd found too much as I spent about 20 minutes talking to him!

Off to Swansea beach today (but on train and with family, so no detecting again :( )

Thats what I'm hoping mate, i was worried about the weight issue, that said it is so well balanced I had no problems today at Barry and managed a few deep pennies one close on 18 inches as it was sat on a stone can't want till get in the water on the south coast this summer ;) ;)

Paul it looks like your clutching a grenade machine gun, rather than a metal detector with the lower stem and coil missing ;D

Good luck on the south coasts !! il look forward to your posts.
