Having not long got out with my detector and living on the Island I have scanned that beach lately in all weathers and tides lately I am jealous!  What machine are you using, Was it at low tide?

Hi Marjie...nice to hear from you.....

I use the Explorer II with a 15 x 12 inch SEF coil and this was found about 10 inches down in wet sand at low tide...towards the nap end of the beach....cheers PaulB.

I'll be on Barry beach next week , as i haven't got a spade yet , i broke mine in BREAN, but i have a sand scoop ...lol
