I took delivery of a drop in battery today anyone got any idea how long i should charge battery for also  If my battery is working perfectly how long can i expect battery to last only got one at the mo like gold dust to find.

It should say in the manual,it's about 18hrs for the first charge and it should last for a days detecting.

It depends how much use the battery has had, they haven't made them for a long time now Undecided if and when it packs up I would suggest getting it converted (simple) to use cctv batteries then it will last days and days Wink

Thanks Geoff I'll  look into doing that anyway for piece of mind. I've only one battery at the moment  if I can get few days use all the better.
