Hi ya Paul, many thanks for the comments, hey really did make me laugh😀
Yep,thats the last until I can back on "the field",I've had a word with the landowner and he assures me that they will re-cut the grass around the 20th July so its back onto very well trodden paths !!
Aparrently there is also a possible hidden spring(in the hedgerow somewhere) which I didn't know about, ive just got to be patient !!
Mind you I would love the landowner to put a plough across it but not much hope of that !!.. LOL
Hope you and your fields continue to amaze us all with all your fantastic finds.
OH ,just remembered I did visit Frome once.... LOL   ;D ;D ;D

You are doing pretty well there - fantastic to see you making some roman finds.

The left hand coin is a denarius of Trajan - the other one is a coin of the house of Constantine, probably two soldiers type.

Well done on the Denari Chris.  Roman silver must be as good as modern gold. Wish I'd got one.

well done on the Trajan Chris.  that puts back the usage of the field to 98AD at least   [trajan ruled 98ad to 117ad]
