Title: A few bits tonight Post by: Dale on March 31, 2014, 09:36:19 PM I had a hour out this evening hunting on a bit of farm land what produces hammereds but I am in a serious hammered drought at the moment :'( same land but its just not producing :D but that's detecting.

I remember a time when I was in the same position and a great fella slipped a cut quarter into some wax for me to find , You should try it ;) ;. Pasture or arable with little fertiliser? I was thinking the same about the patina, I dug up some larger copper alloy items and they to had a lovely dark patina........ The land has had all types of fertiliser over the years even lime, and one year it was even injected with animal blood. |
