Title: a couple of finds today Post by: willow tree on January 24, 2010, 05:46:35 PM managed to get out today tried out a new field not much to be found just a couple of viccy and edward pennies but i did find a nice little silver ingot about three inches down it,s quite heavy,don, t know the date yet.it was nice to get out again the weather was great

Edinburgh 1908 (if the date letter shield goes in at the sides) OR Edinburgh 1933 (If its a curly C in a flat sided shield) OR Edinburgh 1958 (if its a Gothic style C) the Edinburgh mint stopped using the thistle in 1975 and changed to a rampant dragon as its mint mark, along with edinburgh castle motif.
