If it has been circulated but still in good condition, it might fetch anything from £500 to £2,250 GBP.

In his latest work (The British Bronze Penny), Michael Gouby states that there are only 15 known examples of this variety. Freeman number 41 and rated Rarity 18 (6 to 15 estimated). A very rare opportunity to obtain this type. Our Price: £420.00" And thats for a coin with barely any image of victoria or britania. If it is green and has been in the ground then it will be worth the scrap value of the bronze :( |
