Title: lovely little hammie Post by: s12aun on June 01, 2021, 10:04:36 AM Hi Guys.
found this little stunner while out for an hour yesterday. It was around 12 inches down and under a load of small stones and soil so took a while to find. Can anyone tell me where it was minted and the monarch. Thanks. Cheers Neil Title: Re: lovely little hammie Post by: Dungbeetle on June 01, 2021, 03:40:38 PM Looks like an Edward 1st Canterbury mint to me, but I've been known to be wrong 😉😉. Nice hammered all the same. Keep them coming.

Edward I penny, Canterbury mint, Class 4e. The pellet before 'TOR' on the reverse and the three pellets on the king's breast are diagnostic. Title: Re: lovely little hammie Post by: s12aun on June 14, 2021, 09:08:56 AM Thanks guys !! ;D
