Title: Warble warble Post by: david995 on January 19, 2015, 03:17:33 PM Im sure its nothing new ,
on some of the land ive got, in a few places my machine (explorer se ) goes nuts i can only describe it as warble warble its like you have switched it on in the house , its not like " normal minerilazation " though im sure it is to do with the rocks being close to the surface, in some places its most of the field so not small areas where something has been buried anyone know how to combat it apart from very small coil and lower ing sensitivity to not be worth while detecting ? Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: dingdong on January 19, 2015, 06:05:58 PM Any underground power cables around?, sometimes old fencing which has some how become buried, just a thought!!

Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: Chef Geoff on January 19, 2015, 07:09:40 PM Haven't we been here before :D As I said last time small coil, high (14kH or above) machine or even try manually setting you noise cancel to 1 or 2 which will give you a higher frequency on the Explorer. ;)
Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: david995 on January 19, 2015, 07:42:34 PM No geoff that was what i term normal mineralization if ther is such a thing , this is a different proposition all together it goes absolutely nuts had this localy and also when in different counties on occasions
Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: Chef Geoff on January 19, 2015, 07:50:49 PM Same rules apply it's probably iron pan especially if it's rocky and could even be the actuall the iron ore content of the geology, I have three large fields where this happens and the Minelab is next to useless in them it's like detecting on a tin roof :-\
Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: david995 on January 19, 2015, 07:58:40 PM yep that sounds like it .. i cant detect those areas at all, well i could if i turned sensitivity down so far the machine would be useless anyway
Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: david995 on January 19, 2015, 09:09:28 PM Im thinking of adding a Deus to the collection im wondering if they would cope with that
Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: Chef Geoff on January 19, 2015, 09:16:25 PM Yep it does on mine ;)
Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: outlaw on January 19, 2015, 09:35:51 PM When I am detecting in Cornwall near Port Loe, my se pro warbles too lol due to the mineralisation, even the garret probe, will sound anywhere you put it !
i turn the sens down or bring out the Deus lol Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: david995 on January 19, 2015, 09:45:36 PM Will bring the purchase of the Deus forward then i think see if that does the trick thanks guys
Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: Chef Geoff on January 19, 2015, 10:27:45 PM Only on 18kH mind you ;)
Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: david995 on January 19, 2015, 10:41:12 PM Don't know much about the Deus , can you use what ever frequancy you want ?
Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: david995 on January 19, 2015, 10:50:05 PM I just looked choice of 4
Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: dingdong on January 20, 2015, 05:35:26 PM Further thought....you ain't got a nail in the bottom of your coil?
