on some of the land ive got, in a few places my machine (explorer se ) goes nuts i can only describe it as warble warble its like you have switched it on in the house , its not like " normal minerilazation " though im sure it is to do with the rocks being close to the surface, in some places its most of the field so not small areas where something has been buried anyone know how to combat it apart from very small coil and lower ing sensitivity to not be worth while detecting ? Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: Chef Geoff on January 19, 2015, 07:09:40 PM Haven't we been here before :D As I said last time small coil, high (14kH or above) machine or even try manually setting you noise cancel to 1 or 2 which will give you a higher frequency on the Explorer. ;)

Title: Re: Warble warble Post by: Chef Geoff on January 19, 2015, 07:50:49 PM Same rules apply it's probably iron pan especially if it's rocky and could even be the actuall the iron ore content of the geology, I have three large fields where this happens and the Minelab is next to useless in them it's like detecting on a tin roof :-\
