It has been so loyal to me over the years, it's so simple to use and has found some incredibly small finds! By the new MXT I presume you mean the MXT300 which has the same electronics as the current model but is fitted with the new 300 coil, bit of a con if you ask me.

And to think I was toying with the idea of buying the 300! I have thought about perhaps trying another coil but to be quite honest with you I've had so much luck with the standard one I just didn't know if it was really worth the outlay.
