After a disappointing few months of searching with very little to show for my efforts Paulywow kindly invited me out on sunday to have a search on some of his land.
Was nice to have a change of scenery and to have some good company, any finds would of been a bonus too!
Well,the finds came!
Had half an ornate buckle with a crown and angels on it-military?
A medieval strap end buckle.
A spur terminal.
A "big roman coin" which turned out to be two early georgian halfpennies fused together when cleaned.
And best of all after my hammered drought a Charles 2nd shilling.
All in all a great day!
