SNOW WILL SPREAD INTO SOUTHERN WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON AND BECOME
HEAVY TONIGHT. A SWATH OF 4 TO 7 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW
ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. ONLY TRAVEL IN AN
EMERGENCY. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL...KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT...
FOOD...AND WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.

Jesus mate - that some serious snow!

I got a good friend of mine I use to live with in the Netherlands in 1993.

Its along shot but he's from Oshkosh up until the late 90's and now lives in Portland - called Daniel Haley. I doubt very much you know him, but you never know!

Thanks for posting

12 so far i beleive! have to confess yankee, apart from metal detecting i collect astronaut and cosmonaut memorabilia. from soyuz, mercury and apollo missions to shuttle. sounds like you are in for some cold weather my friend. you'll have to make do with watching some of the finds on this forum until the weather breaks and you can get back out.
