Thank you DW for a good day detecting on field 2. had a really enjoyable day with many nice people. My total was; 1 hammered, possibly Scottish; several small buttons; plenty of lead; 1 horse harness buckle. Thought I had a small Roman but sadly no. Thanks Rob and all DW members who arrange this dig. Hope to see you all next time. AJ

Yep was a good day and I managed a Tudor Rose Hammie, a cartwheel, a george II and a couple of George III pennies. plus a couple of medieval bits n bobs.
All of my finds apart from the cartwheel came from field 2.
I thought last night a few hammies would turn up and yep they did I heard around 8 turned up as well as a few Romans.

Great Day today Thanks Guys.
Will post my finds in the morning.

Cheers

could be ... but crispus was 317 to 326AD.  would need a piccy to confirm it.

looks like u got a 4th century coin there ..... and, some Crispus coinage is very rare.
