just to let you all know i have had an initial valuation and opinion on the spoon ...it is a tea caddy spoon made of silver with a thick plating of gold probably made for someone who wanted to show he had money ...flash git...anyway valued at £300/350 but someone asked to see it today offered me a bit more alas it s not for sale ,i want to find the tea caddy what went with it ...good luck with the searching cheers chris  Smiley
