The curved item almost looks like a very worn La Tene brooch. Can't tell from the picture though.

its got the curves in the right places,just missing the bobbly bit on the end....and like you say very worn!

Just depends on type as they very in size and shape. Think mine is a type 2 ?

GJH I have looked hard and long at your coin and I think it may be a Charles II twopence. Spinks 3326. My reasons for this are as follows; The 'G' and 'D' fit exactly with this coin and the size of 15mm you have stated. I hve uploaded two images that may be helpful. Nice find whatever the outcome.
