Hi All,
Great day although the most finds were found by the Big muscle Guys (Hard Ground) Ha!   A number of us were trying our Detectors on a small piece of Gold.  Not many were successful including me with a Deus.  To be fair to the Deus, My sound was switched off.  So those of you that laughed, me included.  I'm sure the Deus in the right hands would have scored well.

I forgot to mention that the Garrett badges we gave away free were kindly supplied by one of our members. Unfortunately I've forgotten his name. Perhaps the kind gentleman concerned would like to step forward to receive the kudos due to him for this kind act.

Thanks Proconsul.

I supplied the Garrett badges which had been left over from a rally the Yeovil MDC had held in March. I heard the excited comments from people who had managed to get one. I was surprised at how made up up they were with the badges. I am just happy they went to loving homes!!

Glad you are pleased with it Gijan. I am not a Garrett user myself, but I am sure you will wear it with pride.

Another great day in great company. The fact that my pee is glowing and the microwave vibrates when i walk past it is but a scant price to pay.... Grin
