Lady who found sword chape. The item that looks like a spoon handle is more than likely a mid to late saxon strap end. Keep it safe!! Sorry I don't now your name.

Great Day out, didn't have as much luck as others, just 4 or so coppers and a couple of faceless, but thats the way it goes, yet to empty the finds bag. It was a fun day and really enjoyed it, good to meet folk again. Cheers to all those who organised it for us, looking forward to the next one and yes please Neil sign me up for March at this place, its got potential  Smiley   Merry Christmas to everyone Smiley

nice write up again on this rally Neil,it took you all that time to put up the photos now it will take me as long to do the poll Grin so bear with me on this rally poll will do it as soon as  Huh Huh. and a good rally again and nice to see everyone with the Xmas spirit with their Xmas hats on. what a great start for Melonhead a hammy in the first 10 mins and then another 2 silvers later,  i didn't find much but right at the end of my detecting day i found a nice Yeovil token1668 and then a Vicky sixpence1844. well done again D.W. team on getting the  land .it was a great day and a nice end of the year D.W. rally.
