I was out Wednesday, but unfortunately due to the location of the site I was exposed to the very strong winds, Shocked coupled with the weight of the CTX and 17 inch coil  Sad to put it bluntly I struggled badly, so I decided to call it a day early. So yesterday I was back and took the Deus just in case, the bottom of the field was ploughed deep several weeks ago for ground cover for the birds and I have been waiting for the farmer to work down a bit and seed, as I approached I could see it had been done Smiley although as yet not seeded and consequently the ground was very soft underfoot and I did not expect to much depth to be had, however a few finds was brought up and here they are. What a shame the Cross bow brooch is damaged (3rd-4th century AD) , to the right of picture is a roman tweezer or is it a pair  Grin Grin I would be interested for your opinions on ID of the 2 coins either side of the camp gate issue coin in the middle Huh the finds look a bit dark as I soaked them in clean cooking oil over night, and will lighten up Wink Wink that's it I've had a busy week so resting the muscles till Tuesday, have a good ester guys and don't eat to many eggs Grin Wink Ooooh for got to say, Geoff look what's next to the tweezers Wink Wink

Nice going Paul and that brooch looks to be the same family as your last one from September, both those coins are barbarous so you can name your own ruler Grin but the larger one on the left I would say was Tetricus Wink
