Today I took a trip to Burnham and Berrow beach a few miles up the coast from Weston super mare today, just to see if these winds had stripped any thing of the beach, after  a 1 hour drive I had my answer Cry Cry Cry sand pushed up, although it had cut into the dunes a bit, however I did not fancy all the rubbish dumped there  by the tide Shocked Shocked so I decided to return back to my stubble field I have posted on recently, I did have a few more grots and slightly better graded coin Smiley and a few bits of bronze and what looks like a styli's or some type of small handle. The small gold looking thing bottom right when first dug looked as if I may have had a 1/4 unit, ???but that thought never lasted long Wink as I bent down to retrieve it Sad on the plus side the weather was good, back tomorrow for a longer search Wink

The better graded coin looks to be from around 350AD - so either Magnetius or Constantius II.
