Hi Popped out to a local field for a couple of hours this afternoon.

When I got over the shock of how cold it was, this little boy popped out.

Any idea who it is, and what date ?

Thanks Nobby, it's great to put a name to a face and the date is interesting too. My other Roman coins are early, but that's quite late date. a new one for me.

Keep trying Dryland, there out there. This one popped out 10 mins into the detect, followed by half a dozen 20C half pennies, and loads of white lead (Looks like DaMonkey has had all the Brooches out of there on his last trip !).

Damn Spiney going out there and nicking all my Roman, he must have polished his horns again, he's beelzeebub I tell ya...   he was around 20 yds from where my brooches popped out as well, how did I miss that one ?   LOL
