The piece of patterned metal in pici titled 'No Idea' looks like part of a book clasp, possibly off a Bible ?
And yes, the little horse shoe could have been off a Donkey. They were used in little traps and for work.

You jammy b. wish I'd got ours. Didn't mention that one side of my family comes from Newport. I know there was a Bible but don't know what happened to it. Shame. Cry
