I've come to the conclusion that the Deus got a bad name for beach work when it first came out and it's stuck.  However, I've got the V3.2 and used it more on the beach than in the fields,  so far.
Despite my criticisms re, field detecting I have to say I think it's pretty good on the beach with the few tweeks suggested in the manual.
No falsing and nice clear signals over targets. Shame there weren't as many as I'd like but enough to reach a conclusion.
So, come you Deus owners give it a try.

Fair play to you Val, I know the Deus can be good on the dry sand no problem, and I for one have said in the past its no good on the wet stuff for depth at least Grin there again I use the CTX so I'm biased obviously Wink that said your perseverance and tweaking I feel will do you justice in the end, and you deserve it so keep it up and I look forward to the bling when it pops up under your coil.  Wink Wink

One of my friends has just got the lite, and it's working the beach, wet and dry, very good, he did say he had one of the first ones, that didn't do it, but this latest one, spot on.

Too late Nordine.   Another one of those occasions when something cheaper turns up the week after you paid top dollar.  You know what I mean.  You end up saying,  If I'd only known.

Ah, it's only money and when it's gone, it's gone.
