Well Ive actually done it !   took me ages, but trying E bay for the Irish Edward coin I found last year and featured in the Treasure Hunter.

Trouble is its on the last day (finishes tomorrow morning) and not one person has given a penny !    I have 8 people watching, but maybe Ive over-priced it.Huh??

Worried now !!!  lol

Take care

H

Hi H

Dont worry too soon. It's very often the case that people watch items to see how the biddings going and then jump in right at the end.
Fingers crossed. Grin

I just had a look and I would hazard a guess that the starting price may be too high.

From my experience its far better to lure bidders in with a low start and let them build the price by competing with each other.

I would also add that you have a low feedback score, which buyers tend to mistrust. Its a bit of a catch 22 there though.

I have not sold any coins on ebay, but plenty of antiques and collectables in the past.

Good luck with it

Perhaps it's because it's described as Edward 1 and not Edward I.
Yes it was hard to find but best of luck with it anyway.

Shocked dopey me not putting the right name lol

My feedback is low because I have only sold a few times and I think one of those was my son - But good comments - baffles me eBay

Anyway thanks Dave Smiley for being one of my watchers - I now have a bid of £80 so really pleased Smiley unless he / she changes his / her mind lol

Thanks for the advice Neil -I tried a few coin people and they gave me a very low figure so just thought I'd give it a go - so stressful though lol

I know I'll just be watching it all night lol

Take care

I tried being a 'watcher' and putting a bid on something my Son was selling. I ended up with a mint condition mud guard that I had to pay for plus postage.
Wont do that again. Embarrassed Grin
