Title: weird shaped stone? tool?
Post by: BeachHunter101 on September 13, 2015, 03:06:29 PM
I was walking on the beach a couple of years ago and spotted this stone. It has a very strange diamond shape. Do you think it could be some type of ancient tool? or just a regular rock :P  ??? ;D p.s that white line is paint ::)

Stones, rocks can be very deceptive in appearance. One of the main problems with beach stones/,rocks is that shapes are created and destroyed by the constant battering of incoming and outgoing tidal movements over what could be hundreds, maybe thousands of years, even well defined flint tools we find on the beach are more than often in a"rolled" condition, hope this helps a bit !!👍
