Title: How to ruin a pair of early milled shillings . . . Post by: Neil on December 21, 2012, 12:00:55 PM Picked this up a few weeks ago from a well known auction site for the princely sum of £12. George II shilling 1745 minted LIMA and George III shilling 1787. Someone was obviously keen on the Georges!
Nice brooch, but I do feel a tad sorry for the shillings! On the plus side the pin on the back has tested as rose gold. Cheers Neil Title: Re: How to ruin a pair of early milled shillings . . .
