hi mike if you take a look at the crown estates map, they own the beaches marked in red, thats what the permit allows you to detect. all other beaches are in different owners other than the crown. therefore, in theory, permission must be sought from the other landowners! cheers alan Title: Re: Swansea Detecting Advice ???
