Hope this is the right place for this?  any way i found a silver coatholic mother mary pendant and have established its from dublin from the hallmarks but cant figure the date letter out its a capitol H in a perfectly square shield? I cant find it on the interweb and there is no makers mark?

You really need to post a Photograph to get an accurate response. I presume you mean a Miraculous Medal or a Sacred Heart medal?
Capitol H for Dublin is restricted to 1804 and 1828 for a squar(ish) mark, neither of which would fit as those medals didn't exist until after 1836 Huh There is a capitol H in a shield for 1878.
As I've said we would need to see the medal and mark to be of any real help Wink

Ithink you mean the one sitting on a harp if so yes and next to that the crowned harp and then the H.
And the title should have been pendant not penadant.
