buckles and blood donations

1st time out for me in ages due to other commitments and the day started badly with the promised area of Georgian manor house grounds full of cows and young calfs Angry

off to a different part of the farm were I was promptly bitten by a horse fly , this continued all day , I must have given the little f####s about a pint of blood today Shocked

.

the ground was hard and dry , the grass just a bit to long and boy was it hot but managed a couple of nice buckles ( any idea on age anyone ) a very rough roman , a few greenies , buttons and the usual junk .

overall not 2 bad and well worth a revisit when the conditions improve in the autumn Wink
