Muckboots as they're warm even in cold weather, my Deerhunter jacket and 2mm Neoprene gloves (I buy three pairs at a time which last me well over a year).

Keeping warm and comfortable is a must otherwise you lose the will to live never mind detect!

mine would have to be my good old garret pinpointer also! 
and a mobile phone so i can text my mrs and tell her to come and pick me up if im locally ...or put my grub on lol

some good ones there.i forgot about muck boots,i get miserable when my feet get cold also the trusty old flask,how would we manage without a flask? i think i would give all the gadgets up just to keep the flask.
