Now that is in fantastic condition, Lovely find Morley and a very unusual one for around here. It's a esterlin issued by Jan II van Brabant. 1294-1312 and the Duchy of Brabant (Belgium and part of Holland).

Well i'm lost for words has to be my favourite hammy ;D I thought it was strange not seeing a bust on one side :o. I found it late in the day and even though I managed to pick out some coins, I was thinking that the settings would lower my chances of a hammy.

Cheers Guys.
Happy Ferret ere :P

fantastic find Ferret. Amazing condition too. At this rate you'll be able to buy that Deus soon lol.

Any chance you could tell me what settings you used ? or is it a secret ? I haven't a hammered coin to test my Euroace on and I'd hate to descrim it out.

Morning mate
It was around 10" deep. I checked this with the probe (being 9") I was at the bottom of the hole and at a slight angle. I set the euro to MAX sens but was getting some falsing, so i notched out the segments that was falsing from iron to foil this stopped it falsing (audio) but could still see the segments activate. It gave me slight blipps one direction and slightly better at 90 deg's so I dug a test plug about 3" deep and then the signal changed to a good coin.
Cheers

by notching out foil wouldn't you be lowering your chances on cut halves and cut quarters as i thought these came in on foil signals ?

Hi Mate
Yes I did think about this, but it was hard going on the day and finds were slow, so I thought about changing the settings to see what would turn up. It might have just been luck thou.
Cheers
