Title: Re: today's find's Post by: Richy on April 05, 2009, 01:35:47 PM I thought the toggle was a handle off an old brass tap but looking at the size in relation to the coins it looks too small. ???
Richy. Title: Re: today's find's Post by: Al.Thepastfinder, ( Alan ) on April 05, 2009, 05:35:57 PM oh yeah, me too, perhaps a small tap hey lol

Title: Re: today's find's Post by: zorro on April 05, 2009, 07:01:46 PM nice days work altinkum . i've just had a look at "buckles 1250-1800 by R.Whitehead" and the buckle you found looks identical to the photograph of No.77 page21, "cast copper alloysingle loop oval buckle with ornate edges c1250-1400"
as for the "tap bar" could it possibly be a clothes toggle? is there a loop to the rear? all the same well done mate. ;) Title: Re: today's find's Post by: altinkum on April 05, 2009, 07:06:02 PM hi max fetch it with you next saturday to match them up. the belt mount's are very small compared to the coin's. thank's for the replies mike
