Nice find. It is a trade weight of Henry VII or VIII rather than a coin weight.

hi   nick,phils wife has just read  these posts oh dear. ;D ;Dno we dont argue when we are decting ,anyway we went to welsh gloster today the vac startedwith an eddie hammered. followed by areally nice snake ring age unknown,possibly celtic, and a  nice roman militry fitment plus 5 clean roman  i had four silver milled he s beating me 17four  ::) photo s tofollow john and vac

It sounds like you both had a very good day, let's see the pics. I like the sound of the Celtic.

I wish I could find something interesting. Then again I do have the honour of first posting in the gallery, when the site started up. I'm sure the coin can be straightened, I've heard Maxine is the one for that.
