Thanks Peter i think that would explain why there are no fixing points,i have taken a closeup of the broken end and it does look like there could have been a split in the middle.If it is Saxon that will be amazing as i haven't found anything Saxon before,think I'll have to try and get it to the FLO to confirm and record.Thanks for all the imput and replies lads i had hoped it might be and am now pretty sure it is Grin Grin Grin Grin
