Hi All,

Not been that active of late, been busy and only managed a few outings Sad  but...
I did make up for it with what will probably be the find of my lifetime Smiley

Walking to a Roman findspot I met a friend walking the opposite direction, he was just about to call it a day... we chatted for a while then I persuaded him to stay out for a an hour or so in the hope of some Roman, he replied that nothing short of Celtic or Saxon would do... Telling him to be happy with a bit of Roman and that Celtic & Saxon was just the stuff of dreams and would never happen for the likes of us, this little beauty popped up after 30 minutes  Shocked

I'm going to get him to talk to me about Saxon hoards next time...

Cheers Guys, I was well happy with it Smiley  Cost me a pretty penny to settle with the Farmer who graciously agreed i could keep it, but hey, where am I going to find another one ?

It's a Tree on the back Al, I expected a sheaf, but it was a tree Smiley

C'mon Deadlucky, you were the second person to hold it in nearly 2100 years Wink

Like to see your Dobunni Dale, have you posted a piccy ?
