Hi all,got a skive in friday as was hoped for in my last post. The police button has Carmarthenshire Constabulary on it.Will these clean up? The spoon handle says its nickel silver.Anyone know what the little item is.It's mostly hollow with no sign of a hole at the top and was a sod to find in the spoil.Looks like a brass/bronze type metal and is very light. Also found a few toy cars one with a trailer I must have lost over 32years ago? Load of scrap too.A wise man once told me 95% of what you dig will be junk.It was certainly true this friday..Ah well there's always next week..

Hi Nobby,Stillwaters, the comb shaped item you mention. The combs seem to be of some sort of alloy with a lead coating over it.On the larger piece underneath there seems to be a tile shaped impression on it.Thought it might have been an old type of wall/floor tile support mesh but i'm sure one of you will prove me wrong lol..
