MAD COWS EAT METAL DETECTORISTS !!!🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂

« on: July 31, 2015, 06:26:52 PM »

After returning from a,well let's say,not such a successful detecting day,and as always clean up all the clobber,detector,pin-pointer, and I started to realise how much all this kit was worth, and also realising and asking myself if it was insured, and actually I don't think it is.
My questions are, Is the metals detector/pin-pointer covered on my house insurance?  OR,do I take out a separate instance to cover them.
Can anyone out there please advise me on the above issues.
After all things happen! And once it's happened, if you arnt covered,
IT'S TOO DARNED LATE!!!........
Thanks for looking👍

Covered as long as you have loss or theft away from home. Phone up your insurance company, if you dont have it, get them to change it.

It was one of the things I double checked when I changed Insurance companies.  You need to make sure it's covered in the home and away from home and if it's locked in the car.

It's usually in the section which covers personal possessions and should state the max. per item.

Thanks for your valued input Val,especially the bit about specific items being insured as long as they were locked within the vehicle.👍
