As I said in my last post I was going out even if it was a foot of snow!!  Well lucky for me it wasn’t and as I arrived at the field I could see conditions were perfect  with  4” of snow in places, a nice easterly wind, with a chill factor of  probably  around  -4c and starting  to snow again, even the Penguins who normally live here was no ware to be seen!!  So that’s how cold it was, any way to sum up I managed to secure some Roman from the ground although not great condition I am aware of the fact some detectorists  still await their first Roman coin so I was more than pleased with my result. Would I do it again yes of course but not until I’ve glued my fingers and toes back on. Grin Grin .....Oh yeh and computer connection problems with Talk-Talk yet again as I did for 4 weeks before xmas Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

Well done for getting out - I'm beginning to forget what my detector looks like!
