Hi,

Here's the hammy I found on yesterday's Abergavenny dig...very pleased with it!

Didn't find much else, apart from a silver-plate fork and a 1920 penny...

Well done on the hammered.  I was in the field about 40 metres away from where you found it and saw 4 machines go over the same patch in the proceeding 45 minutes and not one picked up on the coin considering it was only a couple inches down.

Yep....I think I started digging the hole just as the bloke in front of me was closing the gate, after walking over it literally a minute before  Grin   Still, it's easy to be just a few inches away from any find, I guess...
