Well my new club is all set up, and  have all the members we can take at the moment.
I ‘m now spending the next couple of weeks talking to some of the farmers I know, to get a few club sites for the Autumn.
I’ve loaded a few of my finds onto the  photo gallery for the members of public to view, just to show what is out there, and will be giving  a few talks to various historical societies later in the year.
The first two club meeting have gone very well with a good turn out, and some good idea’s coming forward. So it will be an interesting year.

Well done Steve!

Bizzarely I opened an old copy of treasure Hunting dated 2008 and was reading about your detecting exploits on a beach near Lisbon only yesterday! You even graced the cover.

Whilst I was away I read numerous back issues of various magazines dated from the early 80's onwards and saw a few familiar names including Ancient Pat, Ken Watson, Peter Halford, Adam & Lisa, etc - even Roman Ray and Tafflaff tuned up!

Great article by the way.

All the best with the club

Neil
